Our Story
We created The Nest because family life can be breathtaking and brutal in the same week. We’ve celebrated first heartbeats and carried quiet grief; we’ve known postpartum anxiety, infertility, health scares, tight budgets, and the loneliness of not knowing who to call. We made the calls, hit the waitlists, filled out the forms and felt the doors close.
We are three mothers with one promise: no one should navigate parenthood alone. Community isn’t gone. It's just unorganized. We built The Nest because we needed a simple, human way to find each other again: to make connection easy, to turn good intentions into real support, and to help parents in the same season see and be seen. We believe help shouldn’t be tangled in red tape; it should meet you with a warm 'yes'. We’re building the village we couldn’t find, so everyone has the support they need. Ordinary Tuesdays and tender days, side by side. No hoops. No guesswork. Just an open door.
Our belief is simple: when caregivers are cared for, families grow stronger, children thrive, and communities flourish. We’re here to make connection the norm again -easy to find, easy to join, built to last. This is our lived-in why, turned outward. Care, not conditions. There’s a seat just for you.

At The Nest, you’re welcome exactly as you are. Parents, caregivers, and families can join us without referrals, insurance hoops, or complicated paperwork. Everything we offer is donation-based-pay what you can, and free is always okay

Registration is simple, details are clear, and each class description tells you who it’s for and what to expect. Come once or come often, bring a friend or come solo-there’s always a place waiting for you

We share practical ideas, gentle guidance, and meaningful ways to connect grounded in sound practice while trusting you to choose what fits your family’s values. There’s no single “right” way to parent here. We respect your privacy and approach any safety needs with compassion. Show up as you are, take what helps, and know you’ll always be met with kindness and dignity
