About the event

Join us for an informative hands-on workshop on the Art & Joy of Babywearing led by Alexis Joshua, Certified Babywearing Consultant from the Center for Babywearing Studies, to discover the many benefits of keeping your little one close—from supporting bonding and development to making daily life more manageable.

This workshop covers the foundations of safe and comfortable babywearing, the importance of infant touch and responsive caregiving, and practical guidance on choosing the right carrier for your family.

You'll get an overview of different carrier types—including wraps, slings, soft-structured carriers, and mei tais—and learn proper positioning techniques to ensure your baby is safe and comfortable.

Whether you're expecting, have a newborn, or are caring for an older infant, you'll leave feeling confident and equipped with the knowledge to start or continue your babywearing journey.

Perfect for parents, grandparents, and any caregiver looking to strengthen their connection with baby while keeping hands…
